Mapping Insurmountable Distances Vol. 6… or Synecdoche by Amputation is the personal microcosm of Insurmountable Distances brought to its shuddering, lashed-at end; a logical conclusion. It is both its understory and its overgrowth, two drawn-out skid marks either way of centre, inevitably cut-off from the original body in their original form of corruption but essential in their absence. It is also the necessary fulfilment of an emotional prophecy written into a tiny book of haiku and non-haiku futures from the dead of a dark night of the soul some months ago. This then is the way we close Insurmountable Distances.
